About Truths and a Lie
truthsandalie.fun is a free website for playing Two Truths and a Lie, and for finding good ideas when you are stuck. It is made by a small independent team that also runs TruthOrDare.fun and MostLikelyTo.fun.
Why we built it
Two Truths and a Lie is one of the best icebreakers ever invented, but it has two annoying parts: thinking of something to say, and keeping track of turns, votes and scores. We wanted one place that fixes both: a game you can run on one phone or a TV, a Lie Lab that helps you write a believable lie, and lists of ideas you can use straight away.
What you will find here
- Party Mode for groups on one screen, with voting, reveals, scores and awards.
- Challenge links to play with friends who are not in the room.
- The daily Truth or Lie fact puzzle, with sources for every answer.
- An Icebreaker Host for meetings, classrooms and video calls.
- Hundreds of ideas and question prompts, sorted by group.
How we make the content
Ideas and puzzles are drafted with help from AI writing tools, then reviewed, edited and checked by our team before they are published. Every fact in the Truth or Lie puzzle links to a source. Read more in our editorial guidelines.
How the site is funded
The site is free. In the future it may show ads to cover costs; they will never appear inside the games. We do not sell data, and there are no accounts.
